Poverty - a vice?

 Poverty - a vice?  The lower social groups are more prone to bad habits: smoking, sedentary lifestyle and obesity - German scientists have established. In other words, poor people themselves significantly reduce your life and destroy health.
T Omas Lampert of the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin, said that collecting information for his research on the relationship of the material conditions and health   during a telephone study conducted by researchers of the Institute. They regularly interviewed people about their health and hazard.

In total, the surveys have been studied 8138 people over 18 years. Respondents answered every year researchers at issues concerning Smoking Area , Physical activity, height and weight. Social status and financial situation of the survey participants was determined on the basis of their education, jobs and the total family income. Scientists would also examine age and sex differences.

The study is published in the journal Deutsches Arzteblatt International. The article said that the men of the group low social status   more likely to be smokers. They are the least active and often gaining extra weight.

And what about women? Poor the fairer sex in this regard is not much different from men. Except for one particular - women lower social groups   gaining extra weight is much more active than men. Surprisingly, these generally something poor people forget about the long-known rule: the disease - very expensive. It is much more profitable to stay healthy.
