How much salt should have a child The diet of modern children from developed countries by 50% more salt than is recommended. Scientists believe that because of the children's health is at risk, as well as overall survival.

Salt is often called sometime in our country, "white death". Western medicine which year has been actively campaigning for the restriction salt content   in the human diet. Doctors believe that if we reduce it by only 2 grams, the lower the risk of heart disease by 40%. Of course, that takes into account not only the salt that we add to the soup or sypem vegetables, but also one that is contained in the finished product.

Today's kids are passionate about fast-food products, which significantly exceeded the maximum recommended salt content . For example, a child aged 7 to 10 years, doctors are advised to use no more than 5 grams of salt a day. But analyzed the menus of thousands of children, experts from the United Kingdom found that there about 9 grams of salt, which is 92% above the norm.

What is the menu? Flakes for breakfast, in the afternoon muffin, sandwich with cheese and ham, a bag of chips for lunch, meatballs with potatoes, chicken nuggets, fried beans and ketchup for dinner. In all dishes contained salt.

In Britain, doctors say that if the children will follow the recommended daily amount of salt, it will reduce the number of heart attacks by 70 000 (!) Per year. A number of people who will be able to avoid high blood pressure, and all the hundreds of thousands (a diet with high content of salt increases the pressure).

It should be noted that children in other age groups as diet is saturated with salt. Overall, it exceeded 50%. But what are the recommendations of the scientists salt content   for children of different age groups:
