The European Commission sided with Apple's dispute with the Motorola

The European Commission has accused the company Motorola Mobility of abusing its market position, accusing Apple of violating patents.

Commissioner European Commission   Competition Joaquin Almunia said that companies should focus their attention on improving their own products, rather than using the intellectual property rights to combat competitors.

The European Commission has opened an investigation of the case in April last year, after Motorola won a partial victory in patent battle against Apple . The court found the corporation guilty of patent infringement of the mobile manufacturer Motorola Mobility.

Motorola started a patent war back in 2010. Then she accused Apple of illegally using its technology. Among the devices were marked by iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and some of your Mac. In total, according to Motorola , Apple infringed 18 patents.
