Rice with almonds

 Rice with almonds  It can serve as a garnish or a separate dish.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup sliced ​​almonds

200 g rice

1 cup chopped celery

1/2 cup dried currants

1/2 cup chopped green onions

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon curry powder

Salt and black pepper

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven. Almonds put on a baking sheet and roast until light golden brown, 5-7 minutes. Remove and cool.

2. Boil the rice. Mix it with celery, onions and currants.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together oil, lemon juice, curry, salt and pepper. Add the rice mixture. At the end, add the toasted almonds.
