Tart cherries - the best of inflammation Tart cherries has the largest anti-inflammatory effect than any other food. American scientists have found that the berry can help people suffering from osteoarthritis.

It was found that the consumption of juice tart cherries   twice a day for three weeks leads to a significant reduction in inflammatory markers in the blood of patients. Particularly noticeable was the women who had the highest level of inflammation at baseline.

AT tart cherries   contains an antioxidant called anthocyanins, whereby berries have a saturated red color. However, anthocyanin has another advantage - it is so effective against inflammatory processes in the human body, in this respect it can be compared with some medicines from the category of painkillers. Perhaps in the near future tart cherry juice or any other drugs based on it will be included in the arsenal of physicians providing care to patients with osteoarthritis .
