Rice pudding

 Rice pudding  Rice pudding - perfect dessert for those who are watching their health.

Ingredients:

long-grain rice - 1.5 cups

milk - 1/2 cup

saffron - 1 pinch

butter - 6 hours. l.

green cardamom pods (crushed) - 2 sticks

cinnamon

Cloves - 2 pcs.

raisins - 1/2 cup

powdered sugar - 1/2 cup

toasted almond halves - 1/4 cup.

Rinse the rice under running cold water and cover with cold water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered for 5 minutes. Fold. Measure 6 teaspoons of milk in a small bowl, put the saffron and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Melt butter in a frying pan, put the rice, cardamom pods, cinnamon and cloves and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the rice is opaque in color.

Add the milk, saffron milk, raisins, sugar and stir. Bring to a boil, then simmer, covered 6-8 minutes, until the rice softens and absorbs liquid. Remove whole spices and serve hot, sprinkle with almonds.
