Year without sleep

Year without sleep Almost every one of us in his life ever faced with such an unpleasant thing as insomnia. But Briton Mark Murr can be called the record-sufferer.
With the clinical manifestations of this disorder of sleep he struggled for two years. And 12 months is not able to fully sleep. Insomnia destroyed his career and personal life, it nearly cost him his sanity.

It all started one fine spring day in April 2002. Marco studied at the University of Greenwich and in the evenings moonlighting as a waiter. Young and perfectly healthy people enjoyed a deep sleep at night. He was so tired that he had only to close his eyes, as he immediately took away the dream.

But that day it was different. Marco twisted and turned, got up and went again, but sleep would not come. In the morning the guy did not have to wake up, go to sleep because it was not possible. All day long he suffers late in the evening again collapsed into bed, he closed his eyes and ... nothing. In such a somnambulistic state he spent three days. And the fourth is already acting like a zombie. At some moment I am listening to the teacher, and then suddenly hits his head on the desk and immediately woke up.

Mark is a very long time trying to understand itself from this scourge. First, he decided to try alcohol. But a sizable dose of alcohol leads to severe headaches, and sleep is still not possible. For a year the Murray tried to solve the problem on their own, but he could not. Then he went to a doctor who, after a long survey gave him a potent hypnotic. That's when a guy for the first time in a long time to sleep at night. But it was not a normal sleep and cause severe drug polukoma.

From now on he would be chopped off for a few hours, but it still felt like a "living corpse." Soon after Mark left the university, and then broke up with a girl who has had no strength left to endure the suffering of a loved one. In the end, Mark lost his job. Left without friends, love, career, the young man was thinking about suicide.

He was saved not official medicine, and the center Innersound in London, where he practiced masters Qigong breathing exercises   (chi chi is sometimes - the basic concept in traditional oriental culture, often defined as "air" or "breath"). After the first session Marco was able to sleep without sleeping pills. He was treated by methods invented by Korean monks over a thousand years ago. In 2008 he flew to the Murray Korea to get a master's degree Qigong breathing exercises . Now he helps people suffering from insomnia. And his story recalls how some terrible dream.
