A blood test will show how to live

A blood test will show how to live A simple blood test can predict how long a person will live in this world. Such a conclusion was made by researchers from the University of East Anglia.

Scientists have managed to carry out a successful measurement of the speed of aging of wild birds, which opens the possibility to implement the same thing to people. Thus, very soon will be available science test to look at the "biological clock" of man, the most accurate way predicted lifespan   (excluding the possibility of severe disease).

The blood test measures the average length of tiny structures called telomeres at (the end portions of chromosomes), which shorten every time a cell passes through a period of division. Telomere length allows you to find real ("biological"), a person's age, which is usually different from the passport.

And if a person does not die from cancer or other ailments, but from natural causes, caused by aging, measurement of telomere length is just helps determine how much someone is living. These blood already fairly widely used as part of the experiments on animals. However, one company in England offers those people to take the test for 400 pounds to measure the length of telomeres, which will likely lifespan   customer.

"We found that telomere length is a more accurate indicator of life expectancy than chronological age, - said study author Dr. David Richardson. - Thus, by measuring the length, we estimate the biological age and see what we have left. The higher the score, the longer destined to live someone else. "
