Coffee will support the liver in chronic hepatitis C

People who suffer from chronic hepatitis C, researchers are advised to make friends with a drink, coffee, and strictly in its caffeinated form. It turned out that coffee caffeine has on the state of their liver is particularly strong beneficial effect.

Scientists from the National Institutes of Health in the United States have concluded that caffeine, which is found in coffee, favorably stimulates the body of patients with liver fibrosis, suffering from chronic hepatitis C. They have conducted a study which showed that the caffeine in coffee, is much more effective protects patients compared with tonic beverages, including tea, or tablets.

An experiment involving 177 patients with liver fibrosis, which lasted more than two years, has become a good example of that daily consumption of caffeinated coffee saves the liver of people from the devastating destruction. The final test in healthy volunteers showed: the condition of patients with liver fibrosis who drank more than 3 cups of coffee a day were significantly better compared with patients who did not use it.

Based on detailed calculations of researchers, each additional 67 grams of caffeine improve the condition of the liver tissue by 14%.
