More than half of Russians disillusioned with artificial beauty

The results of a survey conducted by the staff "Levada Center" show that our people are the plastic is not so positive as before. If in 2006 the improvement of the body through surgery approved 44% of respondents now hold this position only 27%.

The vast majority of those polled by sociologists of Russians (91%) reported that they do not plan to use the services Plastic Surgery   either now or in the future. Slightly better than the attitude of our fellow citizens to piercings and tattoos: decorate the body punctures want 14%, and tattoos - 6%.

At the same time, over the last 15 years, the ratio of people in our country to the tattoo has changed. If earlier 40% believed that the drawings on the body indicate that a person serving a sentence in prison, is now 76% of respondents said their craze, and 37% - a way to express their individuality.

According to the statistics given "Levada Center", now more than half of Russians (56%) are not going to change the appearance, inherited them from nature.

"Tattoos have only 6% of respondents, piercing - 1%, 5% wear a beard or a mustache, and 36% of earrings" - noted sociologists. Their study involved 1,600 adult citizens of the 46 regions of Russia.

The reluctance of the Russians to seek the services of plastic surgery did not tally with the amounts that our compatriots left in the beauty clinic.
