In Taiwan, have banned plastic baby

The Taiwan authorities have gone to drastic measures to curb the dangerous trend of plastic surgery among adolescents. From now on, all the inhabitants of the island under the age of 18 is forbidden to go through cosmetic plastic surgery.

Last week, the government of this island state issued a directive to all health centers, according to which any plastic surgery for children   and adolescents younger than 18 years is strictly prohibited. These rules apply to absolutely all operations - from breast augmentation and liposuction to remove excess fat. Violators are expected to review the license and substantial fines (up to $ 7000).

As the newspaper writes Taipei Times, the move has been agreed with the members of the board of Plastic Surgery of the Ministry of Health. Minister of Health of Taiwan Lee Chang Wei said that the ban "will protect the physical and mental health of children and adolescents."

Plastic surgery for children   and young people in Taiwan now allowed in one case - when they are justified from a medical point of view. For example, after accidents, injuries, burns, or the incessant harassment at school due to some physiological defects, such as droopy ears. In this case, the operation can be carried out, but only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who must also be present at the time of its execution.

Note that in most developed countries, the world of plastic among patients younger than 18, as is possible only with the consent of their parents, and some operations, such as breast augmentation and blepharoplasty teenagers do not take place. (READ MORE)
