Dr. Mews asked more than 100 pairs to keep a diary in which every day would be celebrated the level of sexual desire and satisfaction from sex. The blog also had to write down the reasons why the partners decided to have sex. Entries lasted 2 weeks, and after each sex volunteers answered questions about what were their motives for sex.
It turned out that if the sex was pushing a positive reason, the partners felt much happier than if they had sex because of the negative reasons.
