Fish oil can help children sleep better, as scientists have found. The fatty acids Omega-3 do not provide often wake up at night and generally increase the average duration of sleep.

Previously, the same team of scientists found that children with poor concentration and poor performance marked the lowest level of Omega-3 in the blood. A key component of these fatty acids is docosahexaenoic acid, which contributes to a better communication between nerve cells. Recommended for children and adults eat fish, at least twice a week, including one portion of oily fish such as trout.
These studies are published in the journal Journal of Sleep Research. They suggest that a high concentration of omega-3 in the blood is directly related to the improvement of sleep quality and duration. (READ MORE)
