In particular, women who ate apples daily, indicators of "bad" cholesterol decreased by 23%.
A total of 160 women participated in the experiment at the age of 45-65 years. Half of the participants at the request of researchers to eat 75 grams of dried apples every day for a year, and the other half - the same quantity of prunes. As a result, women who ate apples, not only showed lower cholesterol, but also more optimistic figures of weight: they not only recover, but some even lost weight, although not specifically for this dieted.
