Refusal of statins after a stroke is deadly

American scientists have studied the effect of statins on patients who have had a hemorrhagic stroke. It was found that if such patients stop taking these drugs, their risk of death increased by three times.

Researchers from Kaiser Permanente concluded that termination statins   for patients who have already had a stroke, It increases the risk of death at three times. The researchers found that 58% patients taking statins, but stopped taking them after stroke   in the hospital, dying within a month. These studies were based on observations of nearly 3500 patients after stroke , Enrolled in 20 different US hospitals. All of them suffered hemorrhagic stroke caused by bleeding into the brain.
