Yogurt helps get rid of acne

Yogurt clears the face of pimples. Several studies conducted by specialists from different countries indicate a pronounced beneficial effect exerted by this product on the skin.

Recently, the beneficial effects of yoghurts in particular, and the whole of dairy products to clean the skin said scientists from South Korea. Their project involved 56 patients suffering from acne. On the instructions of experts, participants consumed daily dairy drink containing Lactobacillus for 12 weeks. And it turned out that those who received supplements with probiotics, symptom improvement was reflected much more active compared to those treated with standard therapy alone

He presented the results of their observations and dermatologist Whitney Bowe of the Mount Sinai Medical Center (USA). According to Bowe, some of her patients who regularly drank homemade unsweetened yogurt and apply the mask on its basis, successfully controlled the rash and inflammation on his face.

"Although I do not think that ever probiotics can be used as a self-treatment for rosacea and acne, but milk products may be useful in combination therapy" - shared his opinion of the expert.
