Researchers from the American University in Michigan found that the roar of aircraft engines alter the taste of food - that's why all the aircraft it looks exactly the same taste.
To confirm their suspicions about what affects whether the noise sensitivity of taste receptors, amerikansei scientists conducted an experiment, which was attended by over 150 people.
They were divided into two groups and suggested and so, and others to dine. The only difference is that one group had dinner in silence, and the other - a sound like the roar of the engines.
Then they were asked to describe the taste of food. And if in the group that ate in silence, were very detailed descriptions of the taste of all shades, the other group participants were able to identify only the food was salty and sweet.
