Young people who choose casual sex   without commitment, are more likely to suffer from depression later as American scientists. They conducted the largest study in this area and found that sexual relationships with people, familiarity with which lasts less than a week, significantly increase in young people's level of anxiety, depression and social tension. The study involved 3900 heterosexual students.

11% of participants (mostly men) confessed that for the last month had casual sex. Both men and women prefer casual sex Equally demonstrated great depression after sexual relations. Scientists curled that casual sex among young people negatively associated with the general state of health and positively with psychological disorders.

Previously, scientists have found that having sex with a stranger women perceive far more traumatic than men, and this is probably due to the double standards in which male infidelity is evaluated in a society much more gently than women. But in this study, no gender differences in the level of depression and anxiety after casual sex has been found.

Problems of psychological properties after casual sex are clear - it is a consequence of a violation of social norms. And that's what makes people decide on such short novels? Scientists have not been able to find the exact answer, but it is believed that the reason for casual sex can exist in human psychological problems. (READ MORE)
