The Chinese Ministry of Health has sounded the alarm: start an epidemic of avian influenza, which is caused by a new strain of the virus H7N9. The virus is transmitted to humans after contact with infected birds.
Avian influenza, as if on wings, has already flown abroad was in China and neighboring Taiwan. Meanwhile, in China, there are more than a hundred cases, including 26 deaths.
Experts fear that if the virus acquires the ability to spread from person to person, to keep a deadly epidemic would be almost impossible.
Also, experts say that the new strain appears to have absorbed the properties of the three predecessors, and therefore extremely dangerous for human health.
