In the experiment, 100 student volunteers received either oxytocin in the form of a nasal spray, or placebo. Then they participated in discussions that encourage real life. It turned out that the volunteers received a dose of oxytocin were significantly more likely subsequently sought moral support to the other participants in the discussions, but not to withdraw into themselves.
