Aspirin does more harm than good aspirin

Hundreds of thousands of people who regularly take aspirin to protect themselves in such a way from the risk of heart disease and strokes. Many scientific studies have shown that aspirin   It allows to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by 10%. Some studies go even further and claim that aspirin protects humans also from rectal cancer.

However, regular aspirin   in some cases, lead to negative health effects, such as internal bleeding and hemorrhagic stroke, that is, those that are caused by bursting, rather than blocked blood vessels of the brain. Experts from the University of Warwick have analyzed all the existing evidence of the benefits and harms of aspirin, and came to the conclusion that human health will be better not to take medication.

Yes, aspirin actually 10-15% reduces the risk of strokes, heart attacks and other heart diseases. But his daily intake of the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding increases by as much as 37%, hemorrhagic stroke by 32-38%, which increases the mortality from all these ills on the 68-117 and 8-10 per 100 000 patients, respectively.

"Between the benefits and harms of daily aspirin a very fine line, - says study author Professor Eileen Clark. - We have to be very careful. We should not prescribe aspirin, all in a row without an accurate understanding of the negative effects that may occur during daily use." (READ MORE)
