Potyazhka forehead relieved migraine

Potyazhka forehead relieved migraine Meet the first resident of the UK, which got rid of the severe migraine attacks, made their forehead lift and brow. Traditionally, this procedure is carried out to combat wrinkles.

The life of 57-year-old Penny Radcliffe was poisoned migraine . Headaches are so regular and monstrous, that once in a week she took sick and did not rise from the bed. And the trigger for the start of the attack could serve any event: a glass of wine in the company of friends or even cheering her grandchildren.

But now, Penny became the first woman in the country that has been spared from migraine using forehead lift and brow . Following this plastic surgery, with which people usually eliminate the wrinkles around the eyes, it was not a single attack migraine   or mild headache. Penny went through a facelift and a half months ago, after her experience anguish because of migraine headaches has exceeded seven years.

Here's how the procedure took place. The patient is put to sleep using general anesthesia, after which the surgeon removed part of her so-called "frown" muscles (the ones that allow us to move her eyebrows, giving birth frowning gaze). Very often   migraine   causes contraction of these muscles, and there is a pressure on the trigeminal nerve located around.

Plastic surgeon John Pereira made five small incisions just above the forehead at the hairline, then use a special tool made it to the bone above his eyebrow and removed part of the muscle, located closest to the nerve. "This muscle is like an elastic bandage - explains the doctor. - We cut a small section around the nerve to reduce the pressure."

At the final stage the doctor raised his eyebrows, pulling the skin and secure it in place to make the cut to the scalp. So far, the operation was carried out by only a few British patients, and Grace became the first woman who has passed through it.
