 Dancing relieve pain and treat arthritis  An excellent treatment for arthritis may become ordinary dances. Half of the volunteers danced only once a week, have experienced significant relief of pain symptoms.

Waltz once a week, yoga, martial arts or gymnastics pilates - all proven science capable of physiotherapy arthritis treatment . The disease in the world suffers from an increasing number of people, mostly elderly. Mankind is aging rapidly, and arthritis is becoming a plague of the 21st century. That is why any research concerning the treatment of this disease, cause an increased interest.

The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York passed one such research. The researchers tested the effectiveness of some programs in exercise arthritis treatment . It turned out that it is enough to give these classes only once a week to feel much better. Among the researchers tested loads of dance, martial arts, yoga and Pilates.

"The majority of program participants have reported a marked decrease in levels of pain after the completion of the experiment, - said study co-author Sandra Goldsmith. - The level of pain is a key factor in quality of life. If we can offer people the exercises, which help to reduce the intensity of pain, it's just wonderful."

In total the study involved 200 patients with arthritis. It turned out that dance, yoga and Pilates not only reduce pain, but improve sleep, mobility, stability, a sense of life and overall health. However, the analgesic effect of loads can be traced not in all patients, but only 53%. But no side effects of this therapy has not identified anybody.
