Diaspartakiada for people with diabetes will be held in Sochi

Series of sports, educational and recreational activities for children with type 1 diabetes will be held in Sochi, on the basis of pension "Golden Ear". Diaspartakiada starts on July 1 and will last 7 days.

Participants of the sports will be 48 teenagers from 12 to 16 years from eight cities (Arkhangelsk, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Orel, Rostov-on-Don and Samara).

By its format diaspartakiada - absolutely unique event. Participation in such events from the standpoint of the organizers Diaspartakiady very important for young patients - they learn to live with diabetes, without giving up the pleasures of a full life.

The initiator of the sporting event - the Russian Diabetes Association (RDA). Together with an international pharmaceutical company Sanofi she arranges Diaspartakiady since 2010. They are held in the framework of the All-Russian educational program for patients diabetes   "Every day - this is your day."
